ZEDA GONEN (b. 1997)

Gönen is a graduate of the History of Architecture Master’s Program at Middle East Technical University, with a thesis on photography and space. In 2022, she was accepted for the Erasmus+ Program at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville, where she continued her theoretical studies and improved her practical knowledge of photography. In light of her theoretical knowledge of photography, Gönen practices capturing the mundane daily life with little twists, questioning the relationship between places, objects, and people. Recently she was selected as one of the women photographers in Artpil's 30 Under 30 Women Photographers 2023 Selection.

Besides academic studies, Gönen is working at Onagore - an office for research, design, and publishing - as an exhibition designer and curatorial assistant.
